Manager Operational Finance - Marketing, Finance and Business Operations

The Job
You will be responsible for all the operational financial aspects of monitoring customer-wise sales, OTD, quality defects, margins, capacity filling, open capacity etc. The monthly preparation of the Group-wide customer profitability analysis for each customer will also be under your purview. You will work closely with SBU's to improve margins, capacity utilization and work closely with Brandix Market Watch and CBU heads to forecast future trend patterns of the sales with a sensitivity analysis.
You will also be in charge of monitoring and reporting the Group's top line, bottom line, cash flows and managing Group capital expenditure budget. You will have to monitor, consolidate, report Group operational KPI's and review the Group OH structure with a monthly key variance analysis. You will be responsible for identifying key waste areas and work with respective SBU's to achieve the desired outcome. You will be required to perform benchmarking exercises to evaluate efficiency and effectiveness of key operational activities and share the same with the Group companies for improvements. Based on the need you might be required to take up specific responsibilities in an assigned SBU including factories in India and Bangladesh.The Person
The above responsibilities call for a professional qualification in Accountancy, ideally a Passed finalist or member of ACA, ACCA or CIMA with at least two years' experience in a similar capacity. You need to be IT literate, assertive, and possess good communication skills. You should be able to handle working under pressure and have the ability to prioritize tasks and manage time effectively.

Customer Service Executive

The Job
Your primary job role is providing an efficient and effective service to all customers. The job broadly includes, handling all customer inquiries, processing orders in the system, handling sampling requirements, tactfully handling customer complaints and payment follow-ups. You will be responsible for providing timely and accurate information on incoming customer order status and product inquiries. The company's key performance indicator of maintaining a 100% OTT/OTD will be your primary goal. You will be liaising with multi-disciplinary teams such as Production, R&D, Planning, Quality Assurance, Marketing, Logistics, & Finance.
The Person
You should possess an academic / professional qualification in marketing, whilst a qualification in textile or fabric technology would be desirable. You will require a minimum of 3 years' experience in merchandising in the garment industry and any exposure to other aspects of apparel manufacturing and or fabric and trims would be desirable. You will display effective time management and skill prioritization capabilities and will be able to effectively work under pressurised circumstances. You will be proactive, assertive and forward thinking. You will have negotiation competencies and be a team player who will have the capacity to work under pressure.Possessing basic computer skills and good communication skills is mandatory.

Administrative Assistant for BOICo-ordination

The Job
You will be responsible to assist the B.O.I. Consultant in B.O.I related work.You will be in charge of coordinating with the B.O.I in forwarding applications prepared by Brandix Corporate Office on investment approvals, expansion of existing projects and on acquisition of projects.Further you will be required to follow up on Brandix Group projects on compliance and co-ordinate with the SBUs to ensure that the projects comply with statutory requirements.You will also be responsible to obtain the approval from the B.O.I to prepare necessary documents for applications made by SBUs for import of project related cargo on duty free basis, consolidation of project related cargo required by Brandix Group projects after receiving approvals from the B.O.I.You will also assist the B.O.I Consultant in drafting and typing applications to the B.O.I and follow up with the B.O.I on requests made by Brandix Group projects for award of sub-contract to other companies for the manufacture of garments.
The Person
The ideal candidate should have passed GCE A/L and should at least be partly qualified in Accountancy. He or she should be computer literate and should have good communication skills in English together with strong interpersonal skills. Knowledge of imports and export procedures and experience are considered as pre-requisites. He/ she should be able to work independently and under pressure.

As the Manager Operational Finance - Controls and Process you will be responsible to ensurekey controls are in place for all significant balances in the Group and its subsidiaries' balance sheets. Furthermore you will be actively involved at the point of system studies/ solution configurations and post implementation reviews in the areas ofinventory, fixed assets, payroll, revenue recognition, cut-ship etc. You will also be responsible for updating the Group procedure manual. Documenting key processes and assessing the inherent risk with possible work-around solutions will also be a part of your job role. Based on the need you may require taking up specific responsibilities in an assigned SBU including factories in India and Bangladesh.

A full time training job. Key responsibilities would be developing curriculum to meet industry demands, conduct training on Work Study, identifying resource people, conduct examinations and marking answer scripts. Ability to recruit right students is also necessary. Must be able to conduct practical sessions on work measurement is necessary.
The Person
Should possess a Degree or Diploma in Textile/Clothing Technology along with a minimum of 5 years of experience in the clothing industry out of which at least 3 years in the field of Work Study. The Diploma of the IMS (SL) would be advantageous. Must be a team player and willing to teach. A good knowledge on work study/method study, production planning & garment costing would be required. You should be a strong leader with the ability to manage a medium sized team of engineering professionals. Knowledge of PLC controls and prior work experience as an Electrical Maintenance Engineer in the Textile industry will be a distinct advantage. Fabric Technologist

The Job
Your primary job role will be to identify and develop fabric from various sources & handle all technical and colour related matters of fabric for an assigned buyer. You will ensure fabric received is in accordance with our buyer specifications and would be responsible in communicating any change in buyers need to our suppliers. You will be proficient in fabric evaluation methods and techniques and will be called upon to evaluate fabric quality, whilst proactively resolving problems. You will also be accountable for colour management and meeting of supplier deadlines and following up on delays. Testing of fabric and garments will also be a part of your function. You should possess PR abilities to formulate good relationships with suppliers, customers and internal departments. You will also deal with the suppliers for lab dips and bulk. In addition you will also co-ordinate with the inspection and production departments and deal with buying houses/buyers.
The Person
You should possess a certificate in textile technology, whilst a Bachelors degree in textiles or diploma/degree related to clothing/marketing would be advantageous. A minimum of one to two years experience in the apparel industry is necessary .You should also possess good working knowledge in fabrics. You should have excellent interpersonal and leadership skills while maintaining a positive and problem solving attitude. Fluency in English is essential.

Assistant Manager Finishing

The Job
Your primary job role is to take responsibility for the entire finishing process and ensure that all garments are delivered to the customer in line with the standard requirements. You will be responsible to achieve the planned post production targets up to the point of packing. You will also track the production process to ensure that the shipment plan is in line with production. You will plan line output based on delivery dates and will coordinate with the Logistics Department to complete documentation and ensure timely shipment advice. You will minimize cycle time of finishing and will assess and guide the progress of immediate reportees. You will also maintain a good working relationship with internal customers such as the Production Manager, Finishing Supervisors and respective line managers in addition to the external customers such as the buyer representatives.
The Person
You should hold a Diploma or Degree in Garment Technology. Any other related qualification would be considered as an added advantage. Around 2 years of experience in a similar capacity in an apparel manufacturing environment would be advantageous. You should have the aptitude to work under pressure and have effective communication skills. You should maintain good interpersonal relationships and possess good time management and task prioritising capabilities. You will be methodical and have the aptitude for constructive analysis. You should be a self-motivated leader who can lead your team to achieve the set targets with a positive attitude.
